Knives are designed with a capability to cut maximum eighteen layers of fabric and leather materials. There are knife variations in all size between 20 and 60. Knives need to be renewed after 5000 cuts. Teflon wedge is definitely necessary while cutting process of fabrics and leathers different edges should be used for each cut.
